A 90’s original living room finds new inspiration with a light & bright feel

This client purchased their home in 1992 and just about everything in their family room was original to the home. The goal for this space was to update and modernize, while adhering to a transitional style that would allow for an inviting, cozy feel.

The floating white oak shelves were made custom for the space, and pair beautifully with this gorgeous, over-grouted stone fireplace. The walls and trim were all painted and additional lighting was added to help lighten and brighten this space. As a supplementary service, this client paid for additional décor and styling assistance, as you will see featured in these photos.

This was truly a fun transformation for both myself and especially the home owner!
